"I am a veterinarian and my girlfriend bought me a FURminator as a gift. I love it. I have used it on every animal I own (OK, not the fish.) and I think it is wonderful. One of my cats is a Maine Coon mix - she is extremely fuzzy (and a doll), but will not submit to brushing. When I do manage to corner her and use a slicker brush, she howls and squirms and gives off very little hair. When I friend the FURminator, she rolled on her side and rubbed her cheek against it.
